Millsboro police report shows declines in major crimes, a confession in a June case and praise for community programs

Moyer said the youth academy graduated 22 students on June 24 and that he is transitioning leadership of that program to the school resource officer; he thanked volunteers and council members for participating in the town's America 250 and Stars & Stripes events, which staff said went off safely after weather‑related changes.
Council members commended public safety and public works for pivoting during the events and noted continued work to refine traffic and event planning with DelDOT and partner agencies.
