The Price City Council on June 24 approved a fee-waiver request from the United Way of Eastern Utah for two community events scheduled in August and September.
Pam Boyd, Executive Director of United Way of Eastern Utah, described the Soles 2 Soles event at the Peace Garden on Aug. 8, 2026, and a Day of Caring event at Terrace Hills Park Pavilion on Sept. 12, 2026. Councilmember Russell Seeley moved to grant the requested fee waivers for use of the Peace Gardens and the Terrace Hills Park Pavilion; Councilmember Layne Miller seconded and the motion carried.
There was no public opposition recorded in the meeting minutes. The waiver approval allows the United Way to use the listed city facilities without the scheduled fees; the minutes do not specify which fees were waived or any conditions attached to the waivers.
