Staff member Garcia said the city received three quotes: "Stivers $60,143.00, Champion $61,043.00, and Team Ford $62,547.00." Council member Zupp-Smith moved to "counter offer Team Ford $60,143.00," and Council member Crawford seconded the motion; the council approved the motion unanimously.
Under the motion, the council authorized offering Team Ford $60,143 and empowered staff to spend up to $61,043 if needed to complete the transaction. The motion also directed that if Team Ford does not accept the counteroffer, the city should proceed with the low bid for the F-350 4x4 SD Super Cab.
Mayor Dustin Logan called the meeting to order and noted that council members Crawford, Granzen and Zupp-Smith were present; Miller and Peterson were absent. With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 12:11 p.m.; meeting minutes were signed by Mayor Dustin Logan and City Clerk Jodie Flaherty.
