Council declines to appeal Board of Adjustment approval for 169 Oak Ridge Drive after citizen concerns

Councilmembers discussed the BOA’s process and the city’s appeals pathway. After review, Councilmember Zupp-Smith moved and Councilmember Peterson seconded a motion to take no action on an appeal of the BOA decision. The motion carried unanimously.
The council’s decision leaves the BOA approval in place; no further administrative action was taken at the May 5 meeting. The city did not adopt any new restrictions or conditions related to the Huebner Funeral Home permit at this meeting. The matter could reappear only if new appeals or formal requests are filed and brought back to council for consideration.
