Hainesport board approves financial reports, memberships and $2,000 school-safety grant

The board also authorized the use of REM Audiology for as-needed audiological testing and approved submission of the New Jersey Holocaust Education mandated survey.
In addition, the board approved several field trips and use-of-facilities requests for 2023-24 and 2024 (including a 7th-grade trip to Medieval Times in May 2024 with an $80 per-student fee) and recorded recent safety drills (fire drill Oct. 5 and bus evacuation drills Oct. 16). Specific budget line items and total cost impacts for these approvals were not detailed in the minutes.
