Hainesport board elects Jason Cardonick president and Bianca Cuniglio vice president

Jason Cardonick was elected president of the Hainesport Township Board of Education and Bianca Cuniglio was elected vice president during the board’s Jan. 7, 2025 reorganization meeting.
The board conducted nominations and a roll-call vote before announcing the results. The minutes record the election outcomes and note that the motions carried.
The newly announced committee structure lists Bianca Cuniglio as chair of Student Services/Community Services (members: Jennifer Weres, Shelby Maccar, Laura MacLachlan); Jason Cardonick as chair of Human Resources (members: Melissa Carlton, Mr. Duda, Ms. Minero); and Larry Brandolph as chair of Finance/Facilities/Technology (members: Ms. Minero, Ms. Cuniglio). These assignments were presented as part of the reorganization consent items and approved by roll call.
The board opened and closed public-comment periods in accordance with the agenda and adjourned the reorganization meeting at 7:12 p.m. The next regular public session is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2025 at 7:00 p.m., per the board calendar.
