After returning from executive session the Green Township Committee on May 4 adopted Resolution 2026-100 appointing Kimberlee Mantz as provisional Zoning Officer effective May 5, 2026.
The resolution sets a prorated annual stipend of $10,000 to be paid biweekly, specifies that Mantz will handle zoning functions in addition to daily duties and will have three additional hours outside normal hours to fulfill Zoning Officer obligations. The township will pay up to $2,000 for Mantz’s Zoning Officer training costs; repayment provisions apply as set by township policy. The appointment is subject to the Township of Green Personnel Policy Manual and applicable state rules.
The motion to appoint was made by Qarmout and seconded by DeYoung; the roll-call vote recorded DeYoung, Qarmout and Phillips as ayes. The minutes note that Deputy Mayor Rose and Mayor Raffay were absent but that Phillips said they would join the executive session by conference call; the vote recorded in open session lists them as absent. The resolution directs standard personnel procedures and training reimbursement as described in the resolution text.
