The Pendleton County Commission unanimously approved a request from the Treasure Mountain Festival Association to use the PCCB and surrounding county property for the festival scheduled Sept. 17–20, 2026.
On motion of Commissioner Roger Dahmer the Commission also confirmed several board appointments, including Jack Bennett to the West Virginia Solid Waste Management Board for a four-year term and Charlotte Hoover to the Planning Commission. County Administrator Karen Pitsenbarger told commissioners the Civil Service Board still needs a member.
These items were approved as routine business by unanimous votes and recorded in the meeting minutes; the Commission did not set a timeline for recruitment to the Civil Service Board vacancy in the minutes.
