Pat Carroll moved to approve the March 19, 2026 minutes; Brandi Manna seconded and the motion carried, 4-0. The commission then heard staff or administrative notice of the April permit applications and voted to approve the application for 3250 Wakefield Rd (motion by Brandi Manna, second by Ray Davis); that motion also carried, 4-0. The minutes do not include detailed permit conditions or staff reports for the approved application.
Under new business the commission discussed outreach and education ideas, including producing educational door hangers, plans for Arbor Day (ideas included events in township parks and honoring first responders), arborist assistance for members facing difficult trees, and participation in National Night Out at Veterans Park on Aug. 4. Pat Carroll moved to adjourn at 16:35; Brandi Manna seconded and the motion carried, 4-0. The commission scheduled its next regular meeting for May 21, 2026.
