Councilors received a series of redevelopment updates on Feb. 17 from Administrator Mr. Gural and other staff.
"The lease is signed for the full use of warehouse two, and they should be moving in soon," Mr. Gural told the council, adding that the tenant was seeking additional space and that the building expansion approved by the Land Use Board may be completed by PURE and Crow Holdings. Attorney or staff member Mr. Rosenberg reminded council of an agreement to hire Palmyra residents to work in the warehouse.
Mr. Gural also reported that Certificates of Occupancy have been issued for all five Conifer 102 buildings, indicating those units have met occupancy requirements. He said there were no new updates on several other projects, including Outlaw Training & Fitness (620–622 Highland Ave), Sea Box/ELM Office LLC (321 E. Broad St.), Pamarco & Armotek Industries (701 Roto Ave), Callahan Chemical, and the former Palmyra Liquor Store.
Council additionally heard that the COAH Round IV affordable‑housing agreement has been signed. No formal votes were taken on redevelopment items during the public session; several projects remain under review or pending further board action.
The redevelopment updates were presented as informational items; council approved a separate resolution to enter closed session later in the meeting for redevelopment negotiations.
