Julie reiterated that, as of April 8, access in the catalog was restricted to 55 schemas selected by DUA provisioning and public‑data classification; owners of schemas not on the list were asked to submit a data and analytics request form to request broader availability.
Training hub enhancements: Shandria Scott, training specialist, described newly created learning paths—beginner, intermediate and advanced—to guide users to appropriate training content. The hub now hosts short "micro‑trainings" under 10 minutes as well as recordings and interactive exercises that pair a presentation with Databricks notebook problems. Scott reminded users to log into the portal to access authenticated materials (for example, code in CodeComments) and encouraged regular use and feedback via the training hub support page.
Resource wrap and tips: The session ended with a resource‑awareness quiz (Kahoot) demonstrating where to find training materials, code snippets and notebooks; presenters emphasized a practical tip to avoid Databricks serverless compute for Notebook work and to use personal compute clusters instead.
