The Chesterfield Economic Development Committee said the Chesterfield Business Expo will take place Saturday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Town Offices, with 13 vendors confirmed and advertising placed in the Monadnock Shopper for $178.
Ron Rzasa, who presided over the March 26 meeting, said he secured a permit and that banners advertising the event have been installed. Social notices are live on Facebook, the Chesterfield Page, Spofford & Friends and NextDoor.
Committee members finalized logistics: Ron Rzasa will open the site at 7:45 a.m.; vendors and Jim Allen are scheduled to arrive at 8:15 a.m. and should be on-site no later than 8:30 a.m. Setup is planned for Friday, March 27, at 4 p.m.; cleanup volunteers are Gerry Lins, Ron Rzasa and Jim Allen; refreshments will be handled by Doreen Monahan and Ron Rzasa; Fran Shippee has the key for entry during setup.
The committee also noted interest from a Vermont career center for next year’s expo and discussed contacting Keene again to expand outreach. Organizers said they will continue to recruit and publicize remaining opportunities for vendors.
