Scott Severn elected chair of Capital Improvements Program Committee; Daniel “Buz” Kenney re-elected vice chair

At its April 28 organizational meeting, the Capital Improvements Program Committee elected Scott Severn chair and Daniel (Buz) Kenney vice chair, each by a unanimous vote, as outgoing chair Donald Milbrand stepped down from the role.
The Capital Improvements Program Committee elected Scott Severn as its chair and confirmed Daniel (Buz) Kenney as vice chair during its April 28 organizational meeting.
Donald Milbrand, the outgoing chair, told the committee he would not seek re-election because of work and other commitments and asked for nominations. After discussion of necessary experience and duties, Paul Regan nominated Scott Severn for chair; Daniel (Buz) Kenney seconded. The motion carried, 6-0-0. Milbrand then nominated Kenney to continue as vice chair; Joe Lukeman seconded and the motion carried, 6-0-0.
The leadership change takes effect immediately; Chair Severn assumed direction of the meeting agenda following his election. Members expressed gratitude to Milbrand for his past leadership and for remaining on the committee to assist with onboarding and the CIP spreadsheet process.
The committee’s votes were recorded in the minutes as unanimous on both officer elections.
