The Mills County Veterans Affairs Commission on June 12 approved the April meeting minutes, amended its agenda and approved three administrative actions, including a $103.55 reimbursement for postage and related supplies.
Jeanne moved to approve the April minutes and Paut seconded; the motion passed. Jess moved to amend the agenda by moving an item from New Business to Old Business; Yotanda seconded and the motion passed. Later, Yotanda moved to reimburse Sandj Winton $103.55 for postage, envelopes and stickers related to the county designation; Jeanne seconded and the motion passed.
The commission also reviewed a preliminary fourth‑quarter report for FY25–26. Staff said the final FY25–26 budget will be presented at the commission’s next meeting. Richard noted an outstanding billing item for the 602 Locust Street office that should be submitted to the courthouse auditor for payment.
Commissioner Cook attended the meeting by telephone, according to the roll call. The meeting minutes record routine administrative business and concluded with a motion to adjourn at 10:41 a.m.
The next meeting will include presentation of the final FY25–26 budget report.
