Brenda Boswak, Cemetery Trustee and secretary, told the board she contacted the Town Administrator to request authorization and later emailed NH Monuments to begin scheduling restorations. The Select Board approved proceeding on the condition that vendors acknowledge invoices will be paid after June 30, 2026, the minutes show.
The trustees purchased Betsy Ross–design flags for Revolutionary War veterans’ graves and are coordinating seasonal preservation work alongside the restorations. No dollar amounts for the restorations or vendor contracts were recorded in the minutes.
Next steps: NH Monuments was asked to schedule the work; the trustees expect vendors to confirm the payment condition before starting restorations.
