Candia Budget Committee elects officers, approves corrected minutes

The Town of Candia Budget Committee elected its officers and approved corrections to prior meeting minutes at an April 8 meeting chaired by Lynn Chivers.
The committee unanimously approved a motion by Susan Young, seconded by Katrina Niles, to accept the previous meeting minutes as amended to correct line 64 to read “budget Committee.” Chair Lynn Chivers then led a round of brief introductions for the committee so members could welcome new member Dan Coffin.
In officer elections held that evening, Dan Coffin was nominated and elected secretary, Susan Gill was nominated and elected vice chair, and Lynn Chivers was nominated and re-elected chair. The committee conducted these procedural votes without further debate.
The meeting continued into substantive budget review and discussion following the procedural business; the committee set its next meeting for May 13, 2026.
