The Elkton Town Council discussed a proposed ordinance to add "Food Trucks and Mobile Food Vendors" to Chapter 110 of the Town Code but did not take action to bring the item back from the table at the Nov. 17 meeting.
Town Attorney Quinton Callahan noted the ordinance text had been revised at the Planning Commission. Council Member Jan Hensley asked for additional revisions and an appeal procedure; Council Member Louis Heidel raised concerns about food trucks operating in flood plains. Because the item remained on the table, no final action could be taken. Staff said a clean version will be presented for adoption at the next meeting.
