The minutes note that warrants were signed and "all approved." The board approved the Jan. 21, 2025 meeting minutes on a motion from Selectman Virgil Conkright, seconded by Selectman Mandy Berry, by unanimous vote. Selectman Mandy Berry later moved to adjourn at 5:54 p.m.; Selectman Gary Wight seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Clerk business: the minutes say dog registrations are now late and will incur a $25 late fee; the town is also receiving tax payments for the upcoming second installment due March 31. Town Administrator Loretta Powers reported a FY26 revenue-sharing prediction of $25,245.82, noted a request from FirstLight to make payments via ACH and that the town would like to use ACH for Pitney Bowes as well, and announced the town office will be closed Feb. 17 for Presidents' Day and will close at noon Feb. 25 for staff training.
The Road Commissioner/Code Officer reported issuing a verbal warning to a vehicle parked in the road on Valley View Road; no citation or further enforcement action is recorded in the minutes.
