Darmstadt council authorizes street superintendent to hire weed‑abatement contractor and approves superintendent bonuses

On personnel matters, Council Member Cecil Poag presented performance evaluations and proposed $1,500 grossed‑up bonuses for the street and wastewater superintendents. Poag moved the bonuses and Ray Engler seconded; the council approved the payments by a 3‑0 voice vote. The clerk‑treasurer will issue the checks to the two employees.
