Fire and sheriff reports: Darmstadt to get dedicated deputy; fire department logged 38 runs last month

Sheriff Noah Robinson told the council the sheriff’s office has stepped up traffic enforcement in Darmstadt and issued speeding citations. Robinson said traffic counters were placed on Martin Road and announced that Darmstadt will be assigned a dedicated deputy; he said the council will receive contact information for that deputy when it becomes available.
Brandon Zimmer gave the fire department report, saying the department responded to 38 runs last month, including 14 EMS runs, 7 paramedic runs, one gas leak and two public-service calls. The sheriff answered resident questions about the traffic counters and speeding.
