Sterling provided budget figures for Sedona Summit 2: for FY26 the City allocated $60,000 to PR03B (ranger station improvements) and $90,000 to PR04 (Sunset Park). For FY27 the City proposed allocating $125,000 to PR01 (concession stand restrooms at Posse Grounds) and $95,000 to PR13 (Posse Grounds Park improvements). Sterling said the total FY27 budget for Sedona Summit 2 is $220,000, with estimated FY27 collections of $49,600 and an estimated fund balance of $350,640.
Why it matters: CFDs restrict use of revenue to capital improvement projects. These allocations, if finalized, will fund park amenities and related CIP work in the districts named in the feasibility report. The boards approved the feasibility reports and tentative budgets later in the meeting and authorized publication of required notices to move the process forward.
Next steps: Staff were authorized to publish hearing notices as directed; the boards scheduled final budget adoption and public comment for June 23, 2026.
