The Transfer Station Working Group reviewed a redesign concept on June 11 that intentionally avoids disturbing the town's capped landfill and widens the turning area to improve hauling access.
Marc Trachtenberg reported that the concept would add fill as needed to raise grades and provide a wider turning area for trucks. He said Roger Trucking was satisfied with the plan. The group asked Mike Kulig to prepare a more detailed drawing that includes grade lines and to assist with staking the proposed layout on site.
