McKenna consultants Ethan Senti and Kevin Garcia told the APC on Feb. 16 that roughly 170 responses have been received to the Long Beach comprehensive-plan survey and described outreach options to increase participation.
The report, delivered via Zoom, identified possible next steps including a town email blast and a reminder in the local paper, The Beacher. Commissioner Anita Remijas said she would meet with Clerk-Treasurer Meg Collins to discuss implementation of additional outreach.
The consultants and commissioners did not set a new deadline; commissioners discussed the need to encourage broader resident participation so survey results better reflect town priorities. The discussion was informational; no formal vote was taken.
