DARMSTADT, Ind. — The Darmstadt Town Council on Sept. 17 approved routine consent items and granted a sign variance to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Early in the meeting Council President Eric Gries and council members voted to accept last month’s minutes (motion: Ray Engler; second: Crystal Kahre), accept the previous month’s financial report (motion: Engler; second: Cecil Poag) and to approve accounts payable claims (motion: Engler; second: Poag). Each motion passed on a 4‑0 voice vote.
Later in the agenda Crystal Kahre described Trinity Lutheran Church’s plan to update its sign. Kahre moved to approve the church’s new LED sign; Poag seconded, and the motion passed 4‑0 on a voice vote.
