Waldo board approves liquor, operator and tobacco licenses and pays $36,335.63 in vouchers

Trustee Dennis Reinemann moved and Trustee Joshua Behr seconded approval of Class B retail licenses for Leicht’s Waldo Café, LLC (agent Christina Leicht) and Chissy’s, LLC (agent Liza Stuve); the motion carried. The board also approved a cigarette, tobacco, and electronic vaping device license for JAI Marketing LLC d/b/a J Mart 4 (agent Basudev Adhikari).
Clerk/Treasurer Lisa Gillette reported background checks for the operator-license applicants came back clear before the board approved operator licenses for named applicants for Leicht’s Waldo Café/Wicked Spirits, J Mart 4, Chissy’s, and the Waldo Lion’s Club. The minutes list all approved operator applicants by name.
On financial matters, Trustee Jerry Hammarlund moved to approve payment of vouchers numbered 16792-16819, online payroll liabilities, online QuickBooks, and a PO Box rental totaling $36,335.63; Trustee Joshua Behr seconded and the motion carried. Trustee Dennis Reinemann moved to approve the treasurer’s report as presented; President Travis Thomas seconded the motion and it carried.
