Commissioners approve routine business; land bank to pave Vine Street parking lot

Morrow County commissioners carried several routine business items at their June 24 session and received updates on surplus property and land-bank redevelopment.
The clerk called for approval of the minutes for the regular session of June 22–26; a motion and a second were recorded and roll call responses were affirmative. Commissioners then moved to approve bills 1–22 for payment and approved an appropriation of unappropriated certified money for the common pleas fund (Fund 2625) for the Ohio Juvenile Supervision System. Administrator provided operational updates: an auction for county property received 31 bids, and a 2010 Dodge Charger that had been struck by a train attracted bids up to about $1,358; staff said the sale should complete soon.
