The Board accepted a Segalla Sand and Gravel Inc. bid for septic sand (1A at $18.90/ton; 1B at $39.50/ton) and an O&G Industries bid for road materials (1A $31.75/ton; 2A $17.00/ton; 3A $17.50/ton), with approvals conditioned on EMS Building Committee review. The Board also approved United Concrete Products, Inc.'s bid for two 2,000-gallon wash water holding tanks ($11,150 each) and a 1,000-gallon oil/grit separator ($3,990), subject to the same committee review. All motions passed unanimously.
First Selectman Dan Lent summarized ongoing dispatch consolidation efforts and the nearing completion of the EMS building, which the Board noted will have a ribbon-cutting on May 17. The Board tied the procurement approvals to those infrastructure needs and directed committee-level reviews where specified.
