The council considered an ordinance to change the scheduled date of Hoover park board meetings from the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. to the first Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., so they no longer conflict with school board meetings.
Miss Coba told the council that park board members held a special-called meeting on June 24 and voted unanimously in favor of the change in meeting date. "We held a special called park board meeting on June 24 where the park board members voted unanimously to change the date," Coba said.
The ordinance was introduced for immediate consideration; council members asked no substantive follow-up questions during the excerpted discussion.
