Commissioner (Committee member) moved to approve the contract and the motion was seconded. The board then approved the contract by voice vote.
The contract covers purchase of a vehicle that includes a plow; staff confirmed the original truck’s plow blade survived the fire but the mechanical lift components were damaged and required replacement. Staff said the vehicle purchase will be charged to the sewer enterprise general line.
The board did not request further delay and directed staff to complete the procurement and registration steps.
The board moved on to other agenda items after confirming the contract award.
