Noon said she had just received the traffic report and asked the continuance to give her team time to respond. She also said she was withdrawing the signage relief request "without prejudice" so the applicant could see whether revised town signage regulations would address the need.
Town staff confirmed that continuing to a date‑certain (Aug. 13) would convert the return appearance to a public meeting under the new statute, and that the board could accept public comment on that date. The board voted to accept the withdrawal without prejudice and to continue the matter to Aug. 13; one board member (identified in the transcript as Forrest) voted no on the withdrawal.
The board and applicant emphasized that the August meeting will include public input and that no additional re‑notice is required because the continuance was to a date certain.
