Brown also moved and the board approved the promotion of Travis Gosine to Deputy Fire Chief of Operations and Training (labor grade 19, step 2, effective June 21, 2026) and the promotion of Ken Carleton to Captain (labor grade 18, step 1, effective June 21, 2026). All motions passed unanimously.
The board also approved transferring $927.04 from the Ambulance Revenue Fund to the General Fund (4220.331) to cover ambulance billing. Fire Chief Paul Dexter told the board his administrative assistant has given two‑weeks’ notice and that he has received several applications for the replacement.
Selectman Ralph Carter moved and the board approved two Recreation Department part‑time Summer Camp hires—Danica Weymouth and Sophie Fair—both at labor grade 5, step 6, $15.62 per hour, effective June 22, 2026.
