Commissioners raised questions about a separate 5‑acre lot on the property and discussed potential land‑use‑change tax scenarios if the lot’s status changes. Brian LaRoche stressed the importance of clear communication among the landowners, the commission, and potential future stewards as these issues are resolved.
Perry said he expects to distribute a version of an easement contract to commission members soon so they can review proposed restrictions and conveyance language before further action. No formal vote on the easement or contract language was recorded at the June 11 meeting.
