Winter Harbor selectmen voted on routine financial items and approvals at their Aug. 11 meeting at the Town Office. The board approved the July 28, 2025 meeting minutes and several financial reports and warrants.
The approvals recorded in the minutes include: the July 28 minutes (approved 2-0); Warrants #6 (Aug. 5, 2025) and #7 (Aug. 7, 2025) (approved 3-0); the Treasurer’s Report dated Aug. 7, 2025 (approved 3-0); and the Tax Collector’s Report dated Aug. 7, 2025 (approved 3-0). The board also signed the return of the warrant for the County Commissioner (action recorded as signed). Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb provided the financial figures entered into the minutes, including a Trio-General Ledger balance of $613,251.14 (as of Aug. 7, 2025), a six-month certificate of deposit at $105,382.87, and bond/investment market values of $3,499,504.31 (5/31/2025) and $3,522,980.90 (6/30/2025).
The minutes further list taxes receivable and collection rates: FY25 receivables at $30,730.02 (98.75% collected) and FY24 receivables at $5,610.55 (99.74% collected). No additional debate or amendments to the financial reports were recorded in the minutes. The approvals were entered as routine consent items and will be reflected in the town’s fiscal records.
