Warner approves Odd Fellows option, adopts dumpster-fee rule and backs GMO labeling petition; a proposed change to recyclables policy fails

Article 28, a citizen resolution addressing genetically engineered (GE/GMO) foods and crops, passed by voice vote. The resolution called for mandatory labeling of GE food and seeds, a moratorium on further GE crop planting until independent scientific review, shifting liability to commercial developers for damages from cross‑pollination, and discouraging GE seed planting in Warner.
The meeting concluded with acceptance of town officer reports, a vote authorizing the Selectmen under RSA 31:39 to adopt bylaws until the next Annual Meeting, and adjournment at 10:50 p.m.
