The motion to offer the position was made by Council Member Tom Lewison and seconded by Council Member Mark Conradt. Mayor Andrew Leisen called a roll and all five voting members—Mark Conradt, Tom Lewison, Wendel Sprung, Andrew Felten and Mayor Andrew Leisen—voted yes.
The motion specified paid vacation at a rate of one hour per 17.33 hours worked, up to 120 hours per calendar year; paid sick time (ESST) at a rate of one hour per 30 hours worked with a maximum accumulation of 80 hours per calendar year; and paid time off for federal holidays. The motion tied those PTO amounts to the Rose Creek Employee Personal Policy.
The action followed interviews with three applicants during the special meeting. The council then moved to adjourn; Council Member Wendel Sprung moved to adjourn at 8:00 p.m., seconded by Andrew Felten, and the motion carried. Interim Clerk/Treasurer Jodi Mandt filed the meeting record as "Respectfully submitted."
