Public Art Commission approves March minutes, sets June schedule

The Winston-Salem Public Art Commission met May 5, 2026, at 2:02 PM and unanimously approved the March 3, 2026 summary minutes after a motion by Commission member Cliff Dossel and a second from member Stephanie Brown.
Erica Palmiter, staff, provided administrative updates and announced the June meeting will be held on Zoom and there will be no meeting in July. Members welcomed new commissioner Sauda Mitchell, who was introduced in the attendance roll call. Palmiter asked members to consider nominees for Vice Chair; the Commission will vote on that position at the June meeting.
The meeting concluded without public comments and adjourned at 3:16 PM. The next Public Art Commission meeting is scheduled for June 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM (Zoom).
