At its May 5 meeting, the Wolfeboro Planning Board voted unanimously to approve the full release of a surety bond held for Watertown Village Phase II (formerly Collden Farm Subdivision). The Board approved release of surety bond number S‑299318 in the amount of $220,506.55, plus any accrued interest, following presentation of consultant materials and a recommendation from the Town’s consulting engineer.
Lee Ann Hendrickson addressed the Board and read a supporting memorandum and final site inspection materials, noting a March 27, 2026 letter from Dennis Moran, P.E. of Tighe & Bond that recommended release after final inspections in December 2024 and a follow‑up visit in July 2025. The Department of Planning and Development memorandum referenced New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated 674:36 in recommending release.
Separately, the Board filled positions on the town’s 2026 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Committee. Motions passed unanimously to appoint Steve Webster as a member and chair of the 2026 CIP Committee and Kathy Barnard as a member; to appoint Paul O’Brien as the Select Board representative and Brian Deshaies as the Select Board alternate; to appoint Bob Loughman as the Budget Committee representative; and to appoint Paul Whalen, Tim Cronin, Chuck Sumner, and Suzanne Ryan as members at large.
The bond release and committee appointments were recorded in the meeting minutes and carried by unanimous votes.
