Findlay supervisors approve airport kiosk ad, HRG agreement for CFA grant application

Assistant Manager Brandon Stanick described an agreement with HRG, Inc. to prepare and submit a Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) Multimodal Transportation Fund grant application for improvements at Clinton Road and U.S. Route 30. Stanick said the work is required as part of The Abbey traffic impact and that the state will not perform the work because it was part of a Development Plan approved by the township. Supervisor Gallant moved to approve the agreement in the amount of $3,000; Supervisor Chappell seconded and the motion carried 3 ayes.
The meeting record shows both votes were routine and unanimous; the board did not attach further conditions to either approval during the workshop. The HRG agreement funds the township’s preparation and submission of the grant application; the transcript notes the township will seek letters of support from state representatives as part of the application process.
The board adjourned at 7:21 p.m. following routine business.
