RSU 23 elects Craig Evans as chair, Barbara Roberge as vice chair

The RSU 23 School Board unanimously elected Craig Evans as board chair and Barbara Roberge as vice chair during its Nov. 21 meeting at Old Orchard Beach Town Hall.
Peter Flaherty moved to nominate Craig Evans as chair; Donna Moutsatsos seconded and the motion carried "all in favor." Donna Moutsatsos then moved to nominate Barbara Roberge as vice chair; Santino Perrone seconded and that motion also carried unanimously. The board subsequently accepted the minutes from the Oct. 17, 2024 meeting after a motion from Peter Flaherty, seconded by Barbara Roberge.
Those motions were handled as routine procedural business and required no additional discussion. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn from Donna Moutsatsos, seconded by Barbara Roberge; the board adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
No roll-call vote tallies were provided in the minutes; outcomes are recorded in the minutes as "all in favor."
