The Village of Gresham voted to approve a package of community-event permits and related items at its Aug. 19 meeting.
Trustee Brett Hoffman moved and Trustee Michelle Martinez seconded to close designated portions of Pleasant Street and Main Street for the Fall Harvest Day on Sept. 27, 2025; the motion carried 7–0. The board also approved an open-intoxicant permit for the event beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sept. 27 and ending at 2:00 a.m. on Sept. 28. The minutes include an inconsistency in the street-language: the agenda text lists the closure from Schabow Street to Park Street while the later motion references Mader Street to Park Street; the approved action is recorded in the minutes without a single clarified street endpoint.
The board also approved sponsoring a trophy for the Sept. 27 Car Show (motion by Brett Nelson, second by Brett Hoffman) and set Trick-or-Treat hours for Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The minutes do not record public comment or specific conditions attached to the open-intoxicant permit (for example, security, insurance, or cleanup requirements).
