She also reported that Marbina Woods has not responded to requests for a property assessment. The board unanimously authorized Suzanne to sign documents related to ongoing Rural & Tribal sidewalk grant applications. Goulet further reported the town has received FEMA funds totaling $53,554.10 and NHCF funds of $58,000 for park renovations and said work will begin once weather permits. She also noted properties taken by deed have forfeited repurchase rights after the statutory deadline expired.
Selectman Harry Juergens said preliminary reviews of sidewalk grant work indicate the planned roundabout might be moved west, but that moving it would require a detailed cost analysis and assessment of impacts on town traffic; he said the roundabout is intended to slow vehicles entering town. During public input, Ron Scott said he favors the roundabout idea in principle but worried that large trucks and 18‑wheelers may not be able to slow or stop in time; he welcomed the board’s intention to conduct a complete review before advancing the project.
Votes and signed items: the minutes list a set of signed documents (PA‑7 Intent to Cut – Robidoux; Hazard Mitigation Form SF‑424/424B; town‑hall rental items; multiple Grange items; a fire contract for Maidstone and Brunswick).
