Daggett County Municipal Building Authority approves minutes, acknowledges $207,764 in disbursements and ratifies $19,090 change order for health center

The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority met on Aug. 19, 2025, and approved minutes from its Aug. 12 meeting, acknowledged financial reports and disbursements totaling $207,764.84, and ratified a previously approved $19,090.50 change order for the Daggett County Health and Community Center.
The Chair opened the meeting, read the roll of commissioners and MBA board members present, and led the assembly through routine business. A commissioner moved to approve the minutes from Aug. 12, 2025, and the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Officials then reviewed the cash summary and accounts receivable reports. A commissioner noted that reimbursements related to the county’s water treatment project remain outstanding and said they would check with engineers and the Treasurer. A staff member told the authority that invoices and reimbursement forms have been compiled and prepared for signature and submittal to the Capital Improvement Board (CIB).
A staff member noted there are "reimbursements in the amount of about $300,000 between CIB and Division of Drinking Water" tied to the treatment plant project. That figure was described as approximate in the discussion and represents the sum of pending reimbursements, not a completed payment.
The authority acknowledged receipt of the cash summary as of Aug. 15, 2025, and then reviewed a disbursement summary covering Aug. 10–14, 2025 in the amount of $207,764.84; the Chair called for a voice vote and the summary was acknowledged.
Under policy items, members confirmed that change orders and construction change directives for the Daggett County Health and Community Center will remain a standing agenda item. The Chair presented a ratification of a change order in the amount of $19,090.50 that had been approved previously but was not on the agenda; the motion to ratify received a second and was carried by voice vote.
There was no legislation discussion and no public comment recorded for the Municipal Building Authority during the meeting. With no further business, the Chair adjourned the meeting by acclamation at 9:31 a.m.
Next steps: staff indicated they will follow up with engineers and the Treasurer on outstanding reimbursements and will submit compiled reimbursement forms to CIB for processing.
