• Fire suppression assessment (Murrieta Fire District): Staff recommended and council adopted Resolution MFD 26-229 and authorized the Proposition 218 compliance letter; motion carried unanimously, 4-0.
• Consolidated Landscaping and Lighting District (LLD) annual assessments: Staff presented increases in 36 of 40 active zones (ranges from $2.72 to $180.78); council confirmed the levy and carried the motion 4-0 with recorded recusals where applicable.
• Meredith Community Services District (CSD) assessments: Council acting as the CSD board approved the levy and collection of rates (assessment ranges noted by zone) by a 4-0 vote with recusals recorded for members owning property in specified zones.
• Delinquent refuse service charges: Staff proposed placement of delinquent residential refuse charges (as of July 2 there were 1,331 parcels with approximately $501,000 in outstanding principal; proposed levy including penalties and interest about $651,000) on the Riverside County tax roll; council approved the placement, motion carried 4-0.
• FY26–27 Capital Improvement Plan and related joint resolution: Council adopted the CIP package and authorizations as presented (see separate coverage); motion carried 4-0.
• Ad hoc subcommittee on statewide local-control initiative: Council established the subcommittee and appointed Mayor Pro Tem Holliday and Councilmember Lori Stone; carried unanimously, 4-0.
