Carlos council approves corrected treasurer’s report, claims and donation resolutions

Jon Trenne moved to approve the corrected May Treasurer's Report and James Young seconded; the motion passed with all ayes. The council adopted Resolution 2026-09 accepting a $25,000 contribution for the City of Carlos and Resolution 2026-10 accepting a $5,000 contribution for the Carlos Fire Department; both resolutions passed with all ayes. The council also approved a revised Resolution 2026-11 appointing election judges for the 2026 elections after correcting a clerical error; the revised resolution was adopted unanimously.
The minutes show motions to approve a utility-account credit for Thomas and Derek Virkus for water and sewer charges dating to December 2025; that motion also passed with all ayes. The meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m. following a unanimous adjournment motion.
