Library statement missing from printed Tamworth report; trustees review survey results and committee updates

Board members reported that the Town of Tamworth 2025 printed town report omitted the library’s Statement of Financial Position. Trustees said the report was posted on the library and town websites and copies were inserted into as many printed town reports as possible.
Trustees also received committee updates: the strategic-plan process has completed a community survey with 182 responses; Dom Bergen won the survey drawing and donated the prize back to the library. The Friends of Cook Memorial Library reported the Cabin Fever sale on March 3 raised $852 and the next sale is scheduled for August 1. The Finance committee reviewed options for placing continuing-education funds (PDIP) and reported a current balance of $152.85, but recommended waiting until the lift installation is complete before moving funds.
The Technology committee said it will meet in April to discuss whether the library should have a dedicated mobile phone and whether online payments should be offered.
Minutes note these updates at the March 9, 2026 meeting. The minutes also list the next trustees meeting as Monday, April 9, 2025, an apparent typographical error given the March 2026 date in the header.
