Temple Recreation Commission approves member term, nominates and approves secretary

The Temple Recreation Commission voted March 26 to confirm a board membership and to nominate a new secretary.
During routine governance business, Jen Kiley moved to approve that Elicia Gettings remain a member of the Recreation Commission; Ebenezer Edwards seconded the motion, which passed unanimously among the members present. The commission then discussed officer elections. Vivian Wills said she will accept extending her term as chair. The election for Treasurer was postponed because the Treasurer, Gretchen, was not in attendance and had submitted a treasurer's report by email.
Jen Kiley nominated Dan Cournoyer for secretary; Ebenezer Edwards seconded that nomination, and the members present approved it. The motions were recorded as "all in favor." The commission did not record individual roll-call votes in the minutes.
The commission set its next meeting for April 23, 2026.
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. and adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
