The Joint Review Board approved amended project plans for Tax Incremental District (TID) No. 4 and TID No. 8 at a meeting held at the Village of Slinger Municipal Building on Aug. 14, 2025.
Aaron Daul, Washington County chief administrative officer and chair of the board, called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. and confirmed that the meeting notice had been posted in three public locations and that the open meetings law had been complied with.
The board first approved the minutes from the July 16, 2025 annual Joint Review Board meeting on a motion by Trustee Dean Otte, seconded by Public Member Debra Selle.
Harry Allen of Ehlers Financial Public Finance Advisors told the board that two amendments related to the TIDs had been presented to the Planning Commission and the Village Board as required and that there had been no changes to the previously filed amendments. Those amendments were then brought to the Joint Review Board for formal consideration.
The board considered a resolution approving an amended project plan for Tax Incremental District No. 4. Public Member Debra Selle moved to approve the resolution; Trustee Dean Otte seconded. The motion passed; the transcript does not record a vote tally.
The board then considered a resolution approving an amended project plan and boundaries for Tax Incremental District No. 8. Trustee Dean Otte moved to approve the resolution; Slinger School District Representative Kristi Brooks seconded. The motion passed; the transcript does not record a vote tally.
With no further business, Kristi Brooks moved to adjourn, Debra Selle seconded, and the meeting was adjourned at 1:25 p.m. The meeting record indicates the minutes were approved and the document was drafted by Village Treasurer Michelle Schoof and approved by Chairman Aaron Daul.
