Board elects Jane Samuelson president; Nicole Dross chosen vice president amid debate over newcomer leadership

The board also moved to appoint Christina Callan as clerk of the board and Brad Conflin as deputy clerk for the 2026–27 school year; the consent motion that included these appointments passed as part of the reorganizational consent agenda. The reorganizational meeting adjourned at 6:43 p.m. and the regular board meeting was called to order.
