The chair presented the consent items, noting a proposal for CUP 26-2 for a general office, medical office and fine arts studio in the R-5 transitional residential zone at 70706 South Main Street and 105 Eakin Street SW, and CUP 26-1 for a financial institution with a drive-through window at 1800 Bridal Fork Road. Commissioner (who moved the consent agenda) "So moved." The chair seconded and called for a voice vote: "All those in favor, aye?" The chair recorded "Aye" and "All those opposed, none." Individual votes were not recorded.
The items were approved as part of the consent agenda. The chair also noted that one public hearing that had been scheduled for the night was canceled. There were no public comments during the allotted period.
The scheduled public hearings on Aug. 4 will give members of the public an opportunity to comment on the CUP applications; staff and applicants will present details at those hearings. The commission did not record individual votes in its approval of the consent agenda; the action was taken by voice vote.
