Counsel advised that the commission’s enforcement authority to enter property is tied to active permits and that staff should be consulted about issuing notices of violation.
Commissioners and staff asked the complainants for additional documentation and recommended coordination with the town’s enforcement officer and, if appropriate, legal counsel. No formal enforcement action was initiated during the meeting; staff and commissioners discussed next steps for review and whether to request a complete transcript and photographs for the file.
